Just got this site up....

Hey guys. Just got this site up. What do you think? It was definitely more difficult than I thought. One of those things where you say “I should do this” and you get really excited and then two months later you’re looking at a half-done project laying on your coffee table. But those days are over… cause I made it!

So, without further adieu here is my first post. It's to let everyone know a little something about me. It’s kind of a big deal, though, because I made a promise to myself recently that if I started something I’d see it through to the end. Start what you finish, that kind of thing. I just have a feeling I’m letting too many promises to myself go without any effort.

So, if I’m going to start this blog I have to see it through. Of course, you’re reading this right now. I’ve already typed it. So I guess we both know how I made up my mind.

So….. a little bit about me: I’m Scot Su. I grew up in Kansas. When I was young – very young – I wanted to be a country and western star, wear a cowboy hat, play a guitar and own a mustang, the horse, not the car. My mother got me a little, red cowboy hat from the Salvation Army and I used to wear it every day, even when I was taking a bath. Embarrassing I know, but I was a determined kid. I wanted to be a musician and that red hat was the first step to my goals. Of course, later… much later than I want to admit, I realized that I would have to sing and that kind of blew the whole deal. Then I moved on to sports. But, I still remember my dedication and that hat.

Alright, I’ve just started and I think I may have shared too much already. I’m going to go see if there’s any cereal left or if my roommate has eaten it all.
